 I just installed a Viper 5901 Remote Start alarm on my 2002 Automatic Tacoma. All the basic functions are working( hood pin, door locks, horn, chirp and kill switch) The problem is the parking light won't flash and the remote
start won't start the engine. I try to connect(H1/11 white) to the Positive side (green wire)and to the negative (violet/red) wire and nothing. All grounds are connected including the(H2/18 Black/white)neutral safety.
After a remote start diagnostic the LED is flashing 7 times a possible (Manual
made error). I try to reprogram the module to automatic with the Control button but it failed to actuate. Any suggestions for the parking lights or the
    remote start will be appreciated.

The white wire that is the parking light flash output wire can either me positive output, or negative. You need to find the correct parking light wire, find out if it is positive or negative (can NOT use both, you will burn up something, like your light switch). There is a door on the alarm brain, pull it off, there is a mini 10 amp fuse, its used as a jumper. Use it to jump from "+" logo to the middle pin if you use positive, or from "-" logo to center pin if negative.

On the remote start, make sure you have the neutral safety switch wired correctly (grounded).

Hi thank you for your help, I never attach the white wire to positive and negative at the same time i try them separately. Right now is on the positive side i can't wait to pop
that sucker off. I test all ground connections and i check to be sure the neutral safety switch is in the on position.

Yeap !!! I pop the cover open and there he was a red 10 amp fuse tape to
the inside cover doing nothing, i plug it to the positive side and that did the trick.
Now i just notice that the alarm do not trigger when i open a door. I'm not sure if
the H1/9 black/white (-) dome light supervision is the problem here.
