    Yeah its set up for the egr which my year deleted so I am going to just cap it with a bolt on puck if I decide to sell the kit and build my own.

    You got that beast in there tight. Fyi if you are getting nasty weird afr reading your maf sensor may be getting turbulence from being so close to the turbo. Usually keep that guy a good foot or more away.

    Yeah I was getting bad idle from the MAF being so close because I didn't want to have to extend my wire loom. Inevitably I did move it much further away and it ran much better.

    Took it on a test drive and was boosting at 4500 around 8-10psi give or take on the gauge. After doing a few more runs watching the boost and afr I pulled over quickly to see a fire under my hood from my oil feed line which turned out to be screwed up from the resistor not being tightened because the threads were gone. Got it out, towed it home, and started taking the turbo off so I could get it rebuilt and balanced by the pro's. FYI Garrett Turbo's are top gun but parts are uber expensive too.

    Wow just a bit scary there. Glad it seems like a small fix. Already making some serious power on that test run.

    Superchargers for the 2rz and 3rz barely make any power for the 3500 you need to spend on one. Doing a turbo on these motors are pretty much bolt on in one weekend.

    So do you rev well above the "red line"? Stock its at 5500 and it doesnt seem like a turbo would kick in/do much before then?

    V8's are a lot more headache then you would think. I bolted this thing on and ran it for about $1700 and I still use full A/C and didn't have to rewire anything else beside to extend the maf.

    I spool at around 2500 and at 3800-4000 I'm still pushing in air. Right now I am only at 5psi to compensate for the stock ecu and non intercooler.

    Ordered a block of polyethylene so I can make my own bushings for the rack and pinion. Surprisingly the steering rack has had 0 issues. I'd say a lot of that is to good geometry with the front kit but of course running 35's puts the strain on it the most.

    I finally got my kit a few weeks ago, solid design but geometry may be off.
