I am looking to replace the suspension on my 2003 Tacoma Double cab that currently has the TRD package, The truck has about 92K on the original suspension so it goes without saying that the ride is nowhere close to stock at this point. I am thinking of lifting the truck between 2 ½ and 3 inches and will most likely put 285s on when I am done. I have read a lot on the forum and have a good idea of what is out there. I am leaning towards a coil over system on the front because I think I need new springs. 80-90% of my driving will be on the road and off-road will mostly be limited to back roads and some minor climbs to get to places that I fish or camp.

I do not think it makes sense to purchase something designed for off-road racing such as the Kings or Icons, and I am leaning towards the ToyTec or Fabtech coil over for the front. For the back I am not sure if I want to do the AAL add a leaf or just use a block to lift the back. With the focus on ride quality any experience people have had with lift of higher mileage older generation trucks would be greatly appreciated.
