While in quarantine, I am going to change the timing belt on my 2003 V6 PreRunner. In looking for parts of good quality, I have seen Dayco and Aisin brands typically get good reviews on Amazon.

However, looking on Rock and Amazon, there is some disagreement on what part actually matches.

I was thinking of the AISIN TKT025 or the DAYCO WP271K1CS from Rock. Amazon says these don't match the truck.

What parts have you used? Thanks.

Good time to change the bearing in your A/C belt tensioner

Good call, thanks. I think the one of the valve covers is leaking as well, so a few things might be getting sucked into the "might as well" vortex. :)

Thats the kit I got, had it installed a week ago. Everything is Toyota parts, great deal for the kit. Mine was actually about $20 more when I bought it from that seller a few months ago.

The only other thing you should get is a new crankshaft pulley bolt. Better to have a new one

Everyone should be cautious about the above mentioned timing belt kit for $183.99 from wellaccessory. Look closely at the pictures with the enlarge feature. You will see that the word Toyota is blurred in all the photos. If you click on the seller wellaccessory you will also see he is based in China.
