    Curious.
Last week my baby was hit by a mini-van as I was pulling into the post office.
Traffic was stopped for me and as I inched, we didn't see each other and you know the rest.

    166,000 miles
    Nothing mechanical.
    a/c needs charged.
4 brand new tires 2600 miles on them
    2nd owner (2007)
All records and work done on schedule

    Here is my question.
Does this seem like something insurance would total on?
You can see some of the damage and driving it you wouldn't know there was a problem but the steering wheel is crooked when you drive on a straight road.

I'm taking it for estimates tomorrow.
I think I just needed to whine....

    It actually looks pretty minor.
Obviously bumper will have to be replaced, fender straightened, a few misc. bits around the headlight, alignment, and maybe a couple of suspension parts that got bent (though could have just knocked the alignment out).
