Dealer is telling me that the front floor mats are different for each cab style. Is that true? Looking for new front mats for my 04 Double cab and was hoping to not have to buy a who set as my rears are fine. Would have thought they were all the same.

id think that the front mats are all the same. when i bought my huskyliners, (doublecab) it gave the option for the fronts and IF you wanted the back then you chose them. no different sizes

Double Cabs *are* different enough to require different tailored liners (though basic mats will work fine on all models).

Husky lists an entirely separate front liner part number for Double Cabs, and WeatherTech clearly states the Taco liners (linked above) don't fit Double Cabs.

Here's the crappy deal with the Weathertech Digimats. I ordered a set through Cabelas. I was able to order them specifically for my truck (03 Double Cab) and when they arrived they had a label on the box stating what they fit, including my truck. But they don't fit. They come dangerously close to being a perfect fit, but one corner on the driver and passenger side is WAY off. That leads me to believe that the Double Cabs have a different floor contour than the other cab models. It's too bad they tell you they fit (see label attached)

Thanks for the post. I was going to buy a set of Weathertech's for my '02 double cab but now I'm thinking twice.

Thank you for the info. Guess i will have to look for a DC specific set. Ultimately, all i want are plain Toyota carpet ones and all i need are the fronts. My truck is not going to see any rough weather or terrain. It is more for a truck and still get the kids in there.

If anyone has some grey ones they are not using i am interested.
