Tail lights and running lights are usually considered the same thing. Which light is not working? Just the rear tail lights but side front marker lights are working? Does your truck have a trailer light hookup?

Yes rear ones are out , front sides are good . I had a trailer harness and clipped all the wires and removed to check that

Did you remove the converter box inline with the rear light harness?

I had the same issue. For me it was the the plugs that connected the whole assembly. They were full of corrosion and the connectors themselves were all eaten up with rust. I just ended up cleaning the connectors from the truck and replacing the OEM light housings because of how much there was.
