Hi all. I am trying to see what the correct turn signal bulb for a 2004 Tacoma is. Does your turn signal look like the attached images. According to the Sylvania website, the bulb should be the 4157NA. So I bought some led bulbs that are 4157NA compatible but they dont go in as you see in the pictures. Some questions would be:

    -What am I doing wrong?
-Does your 2004 Tacoma have these turn signal lights or a different one?
-What is the correct light bulb number for my tacoma?

    Thanks Before Hand,
    Adiel

the turn signal is on the bumper. the corner lights are next to the headlights. the bulb looks right your just trying to put it into the wrong housing.

Those are your sidemarker lights, they just light up, they don't blink. Sidemarker lights use the 194 bulbs.

Thanks! :frusty: So it looks like the "corner lights" is what I should have purchased. For some reason I thought they were also turn signal lights. I guess I can keep those and use them for the real turn signals. :)

If you use those LEDs in the turn signals you'll have hyperblinking because LEDs draw less current the regular bulbs and the computer thinks you have a bulb out and the hyperblinking tells you that you have a bulb out.

Thanks for the info. Is there a workaround to trick the computer that the led turn signals are working?

    Thanks,

Replaced chrome badges with Sockmonkey black badges, painted billet grill black, K&N cold air intake, my corner light turn signal circuit, Speedfreek traction bars, RAAMaudio BXT/Ensolite, Stereo: Kenwood KIV-701 USB/Bluetooth deck, 10" Pioneer shallow sub behind the rear seat, Infinity 6822cf 6x8 front and rear doors, Fosgate P400-2 (sub), US Acoustics USX-4065 (four main speakers)
Speaking of corner lights....... you can use the 921 (18 Watt) and 922 (12W) bulbs. They plug right in and are much brighter. You should be able to find them in both white and amber.
