Getting ready to do a face lift on our 2005-11 winch mount bumper in January and apply some lessons learned from our 2012+ bumper.

I'll be looking for someone to volunteer their truck for a day in west Fort Worth. You will need to be able to drop it off and have someone pick you up then return you unless you are very close to the west FTW/Aledo area. We will not be doing any cutting or modifications to your truck and will provide a bumper cover to play with, so you will get your Taco back just as you left it.

This isn't a start from scratch design so it shouldn't take too long. For your time I'll make you the mother of all deals on a bumper. FREE.

Probably mid January, date to be set. Reply here or PM me for more info.

If all goes well production will be scheduled for around mid March.

Damn. Almost worth the drive down from Northern Colorado if gas prices were just a little bit better. Awesome deal for anyone in and around D/FW. Free bump.

Everyone, including me, has been running behind. I've got some time scheduled for mid February, let's call it Tuesday the 18th.

Any Ft Worth locals available for then?

I know you were looking for someone the 18th, but I could do Friday the 20th if you can't find anyone for the 18th.

Ok, we are set on our end for the 18th, who's available?

Andlours made the trip yesterday in his super nice 09 Off Road (loved the King suspension) and we managed to get it figured out without destroying his nice Taco.

Andy turned a few wrenches, offered some feedback and is a super nice guy. I appreciate him making the trip from Oklahoma...and you guys should too as it will really pay off in the new design.

We'll gain 3/4" of winch tub depth, the ends will blend back to the bumper cover very similar to the 12+ design and a few other changes I'll discuss later. :)

I'm going to refrain from posting pics until we have a 'production' prototype ready but it should be nice. Probably take a month or so to have a prototype for final test fit. Gotta reverse much of this in to Solid Works then let the steel monkeys carve one out for us to try.

I was extremely impressed with the whole engineering process U.S. Offroad goes through with their products. Brad is a top notch guy. Even bought me lunch and some new bumper clips.

As far as the new design goes, it's looking really great. It definitely flows a little better IMO than the first design. It's beefy as hell too.

I'm looking forward to the test fitting here in a month or so. The drive down to Dallas was definitely worth it.
