    Soon. I have most of it figured out. At least, how it'll bolt up. Issue is the third gens have a lot more empty space behind the bumpers and the valence is skinner and in a different spot. Smartest option is to go low but it'll require bumper cutting.

    Got my Mobtown Offroad Recovery Bar yesterday. Packaged nicely.Very Beefy, nice clean weldsIMG_0156.jpg
    Didn't need these two nut/bolts because... IMG_0163.jpg...Already had the OEM bolt with its captured/welded nut in place IMG_0157.jpg
    Had to use a BFH and considerable manhandling to align the recovery bar bolt holes with 3 Crash Bar studs. Partially stripped the stud. Need to get that fixed later. Also, only two studs on the Recovery Bar per side and two additional un-used holes. The OEM aluminum Crash Bar support has three on each side. @Mobtown Offroad - any chance the third stud was not installed? (Your pdf Instruction sheet also shows 3 studs on each side.) IMG_0160.jpg
    Took truck for a 4-Lo, locked rear diff romp in the mud to test out the Recovery Bar. Worked fine. LOL IMG_0165.jpg

    No. the OEM bolt with the nut welded on still looked fine. Should I have used the grade 8 bolt you provided?

    Well, you don't "have" to. Itll be fine without but sometimes those caps dont work. Hole placement is all over the place.

    @Mobtown Offroad - did you guys forget the third stud that bolts down each side of the OEM aluminum crash bar? The pic on your instruction pdf shows 3 studs on each side Step 13.)

    No. Its an unnecessary cost for us and not needed. Its only holding an aluminum crash bar. Only need one in opposing corners for it to be secure.

    Hey @JohnNP - Are those 7/8" shackles with a full 1" Pin? Or 3/4" shackles with a 7/8" Pin. Do you mind sharing info on the shackles and the rubber protector thingy too? Brand, where you bought them, etc.

    The shackles were just the Smittybilt black they were 3/4's as I recall. It was the size that mobtown recommended on their site I remember that for sure. I bought them at my local truck store. The red thingies are from Amazon and here's the link. They come in black/blue/red.
