TJM 3inch suspension lift with TJM uppercontrol arms
TJM 3 inch suspension lift for 2005 - 2019 Toyota Tacoma’s. Ride so far is a bit stiffer than stock suspension. Upper control arms correct any unwanted stress on the mechanical components. Running stock wheels and stock all-terrain tires for now. Will post pictures when I upgraded to 33’s. Overall, feels very comfortable and handles nicely.

Looking at doing the same. TJM XGS Platimun Series w/ upper control arms. Im concerned this set-up is too stiff and I dont see anyone who can offer long term feedback. Would like to hear what you think.

I like that satin color. I’m curious if the caster is adjustable on those UCAs? Also, do you know what lb coil those are?

Crowder: the lift is pretty stiff, not going to lie. But over all I haven’t had any issues.

Speysquatch: not sure if the caster is adjustable, but I’ve never had an issue with an alignment.

4x4erik- my struts came fully assembled, they are adjustable so you will have to adjust them to your preferred level. I believe they range from stock - 3inches in the front, rear is a complete replacement of your stock leaf springs(no block) it will lift around 2 inches. You will also get new UCA, that are fabricated and rear shocks. I’m running 285/75/16’s or 33’s but in order to fit them you’ll have to get a body chop. BTW Rogue off-road did mine and they definitely know what they’re doing, they’ll take care of you no matter what lift you get. Shawns run nearly every lift he sell. If you want I can meet you in Vegas somewhere so you can check out the lift. I’m in the NW part of town.

You think it would be too stiff if running a bumper/winch up front with a rtt out back?

also curious on how easy the balljoints are to get for replacements?

Very interested in this kit, it’s this, bilstein or OME. I love my Dakar’s on my 1st gen but interested to try the tjm out.

CrawlerJunkie: I haven’t added a front bumper, but I’m sure it wouldn’t effect the ride much. The ride is a bit stiff, you’d have to get icons, Kings or foxes to reduce the stiffness but that’s a lot more $$$.
Haven’t had to replace the ball joints and I’m at 30,000 miles on my Tacoma. These UCA are amazing.
You really can’t go wrong with this kit, or the OME and Bilstein, all three work very similar. I really liked that this TJM kit came with fabricated UCA and a new full leaf pack that seems to hold up on heavy weight so far. Also comes with mono tube front adjustable struts with new coils, and rear mono tube shocks. So far I really can’t complain.

Does anyone know if oem ball joints work with these tjm uca’s? Buddy of mine had this same kit installed but the ball joints failed, and he handed them to me since I was looking for new uca’s for my bilstein lift setup. I tried calling/emailing tjm but no response.
