    Ha! Yes, this forum has been invaluable. I'd love to deliver it to Austin (from NY) and pick up tacos and barbecue for the way back! :)

    I love my truck. No question. Just getting cramped. I can probably sell it on www.bringatrailer.com for more than I paid for it. Seriously, check out the prices they are getting for used Tacomas there (KBB + $5K!).

    Mine has had some challenges lately but I do not fault the truck for that. AC condenser went, alternator went (shredding some belts with it), battery went, etc. But I can't blame the truck for that. Fifteen years old some of those kinds of things are part of the process for sure.

    I completed replacing the switch over the weekend and it works great once again. The task was not as easy as I thought it would be. Putting the new one on was a 5 min job but getting the old one off was 3 hrs. I had to break the switch from the bushing inside and remove the bushing that goes over the shaft after that. Should work great for another 15 yrs. Thanks for the help.
