I have had it listed on CL for about 3 hours. I have had an offer that I just had to turn down because I felt like I was cheating the guy :D. He offered me a 1995 Acura Legend

I got offered a '91 Jeep Wrangler with 4" lift, wheels, and tires. It's old, but might take it if he would give some cash along with it. Also got offered some assault rifles.

It was red stock. That year came out in 4 colors. Red, Black, Blue, and Yellow. Wanted black, but no one had one in stock. My friend had a blue 750, so I didn't want that one. Definitely didn't want the yellow one. So I chose red.

Right on. I just didn't remember seeing a solid colored GSXR that wasn't custom painted. My last ride was an '04 750, it was blue, white, and black. I've seen the red ones before but they had the same graphics scheme that my blue one did. Great bike either way and a fair price. Probably the most "comfortable" sport bike I've spent time on.

Did you just remove all the decals?

It is custom painted w/ the graphics removed. Candy Apple Red with a green/gold undertone. Just wanted to keep it similar to the stock color of red.

O I C. GLWS. And have fun with the craigslist replies! I find that selling a motorcycle in particular brings out a lot of unwanted trade offers and cheap skate low ballers. Hopefully you'll sift through them and get what you want for it.

So I had a guy that was interested in the bike and liked the price. He sent this e-mail

Thanks for your response, I am quite okay with your price, I need you
to understand that i am willing and ready to purchase it right away,
put it off the AD site, consider me as your favorite buyer, and Please
note that i have a shipper/mover who handles my shipping arrangement
anywhere in the world and i will add extra $2,000 for the shipping fee
and he would be coming for the pickup, after you have received
payment, which would be through paypal, If this is acceptable, advice
soon as i work as a petroleum engineer and am currently offshore, so
am buying this for my Son, i am at work right now .I can only pay
through PayPal at the moment as i do not have access to my bank
account online, but i have it attached to my pay pal account, and this
is why i insisted on using pay pal to pay,all i will need is your pay
pal email address to make the payments, and if you do not have a pay
pal account yet,its pretty easy to set one up at www.paypal.com,i will
be expecting your email.I have a pick up agent that will come for the
pick up after payments has been sorted. I want you to provide me with
the following information for me to proceed with the Payment...

    Your PayPal e-Mail Address :
    Your Full name:
    What is the condition?
    Are you the Original Owner?
    Your Picked Up Location Address?

I have a pick up agent that will come and pick it up after i have made
    the payments.

I sent an e-mail back to the guy and said that it sounded a little to fishy and thanked him for looking at the ad. Was I right in thinking that this was a scam?

he'll get his money back the second his "agent" picks it up man....

    scam!

paypal sucks, I had signature proof the guy signed for the parts i sent him, they still refunded his money, and because I refused to send them the money back, about 100 bucks, they closed my acct. Tried getting into my bank but I closed that! Ive got a new acct now, but Im sure they're better at it now, so Id be careful... scammers wouldnt scam if they were bad at it.
