Test driving 2005 with 5sp and 4wd (no elec lock diff) and it acts like front and rear tires are locked (ie, chirp when turning). Is this normal for toyota?

Sounds like a old school detroit locker or spool in rear end. Just between front and rear.

    Chirp.

Sorry, I'm on blackberry in parking lot
