After 20k miles of having the fat bobs long aal installed on my truck I decided it was not for me. I removed them this morning and it took me about 4 hours from start to finish. Just wanted to share my thoughts and results with you all.
-The truck is actually closer to level with the aal removed
-It is now slightly lower in the rear than the front
-I still have my front strut spacer installed
-With the aal installed, the rear end sat noticeably higher than the front
-I never tow and rarely load the bed with heavy weight so i had no need for the increased stiffness
-It rides much better with the aal removed
-This was my first time doing any sort of suspension work and I was surprised how easy leaf springs are to work with.
I will be posting before and after pictures soon. All in all it lowered the rear about 2 inches possibly more and is now much more comfortable to ride in.
Also my AAl's will be for sale shortly in the for sale forum

Got a lot of stuff lol
I think it depends on the life of the leafs. I lifted my front first and drove around with it for about a week and it was bro leaning pretty bad so I then ordered the aal which did level it for me. Congrats on the successful suspension work, sometimes the plan seems easy, but then there's something that usually dosnt want to come undone.

True. My truck only has 43k miles so the leafs are still very strong. Also I'm in SoCal where everybody here has crazy amounts of bro-lean, so I don't mind having a little. My truck is mostly used for commuting and filling the bed with my fishing rods so I'm all about having as smooth of ride as possible.
