2006 Seat replacement question

Hello All

I'm new to the forum, I recently bought an 06 Tacoma Access Cab with the TRD Off Road Package, I have had it for about a month now and do not care for the Driver and passenger seats!! and was wondering if the later model Tacoma seats can fit in an 06 model!! I did sit inside an 2011 model and the seats seem wider!!! I'm a Big Guy and just can't get comfortable on long trips? Any suggestions would be welcome. PS this is a great forum. Jeff

 

Maybe the newer seat you tested out was from a regular SR5 model? I don't think the seats have changed from 2005-now. The TRD seats are different from SR5 slightly.
