I just bought an 06 DC SH OR 6speed with 86K on it. The truck had obviously been on the road alot, and judging from the rifle shells in the engine compartment and mud packed underneath it had seen a lot of off-road hunting. Before I bought it I looked at Carfax and talked to toy dealerships mentioned therein. Had some funky and contradictory info re replacement of front wheel bearings and rear axle seals. Put it up on a lift and didn't look to beat up, everything dry etc. so I bought it.

I took it into my mechanic yesterday and we checked plugs (OK), replaced the rear diff oil, tranny oil (was wretched), engine oil and filter, and front diff was fine (meaning not much 4x4 use or had been changed recently without changing any of the others?). Airfilter fine, replaced mouse nest in cabin filter with new filter. No new mouse. Did not look at TB. Lubed everything and checked motor mounts etc. Even though its been well-driven in a short time, overall it was tight and in great shape.
