Howdy all, my A/C has gone out on my 2007 Tacoma. The A/C light is blinking. I've already tested the relay and that is not the problem. I am pretty confident it is the A/C clutch.

Does anyone here have any experience with replacing just the A/C compressor clutch? Any insight would be greately appreciated as I have a 1000 mile trip to head back to Texas and I'm not really looking forward to doing that with no A/C.

    Thanks in advance.

Your problem is probably what I had just happen. Heard a few grinds, and then no AC. My clutch was gone, the rubber and the ring basically discenegrated apart.

I ordered mine online and just swapped out the clutch from the new conpressor, and installed it on my stock one. NO I have an extra compressor if I ever need it.
