My rear sliding window has a large decal on it and the truck's 10 years old. The window never gets used unless my son decides to release the gas fumes (from his rear). Anyway, the last time he opened it the seal grabbed on the large window decal and pulled out from the channel. I saw a few people having the same issue as me and they said it was recommended that they replace the entire back window....uhh no. There are two screws on the drivers side of the sliding window, on the bracket that the window latches to. Remove those two screws, slide the window towards the drivers side, exposing the displaced seal. Reset seal into the designated slot, and reassemble. See photos.

That's my problem as well. I thought I had to remove the window to get at the slider, I'm going to try this Saturday. Thanks!

Thanks for this info, this one should be on the "How to" page, I searched all over to find something other than have the dealer replace the window.

I ran into the same problem with my 2007 Tacoma sliding rear window. Every time I went through the car wash I ended up with a wet carpet. Front carpets BTW, so if your passenger and driver side carpets up front are wet, check the seal on the rear window. It's not intuitive, but the water runs right down the wire channels under your driver and passenger door sill covers and empties into the front seat floor pans. Anyway, if you pull the rubber seal out that seals your slider and soak it in a sink full of warm/hot water, it will rejuvenate the rubber. I let mine sit for about an hour then reinstalled. it seals nicely now. I would also check the small drain holes in the sliding window track. Mine were plugged and not allowing water to drain out. I slid a large zip tie in and out of the slots and cleaned them up.
