I got the same problems with my 2007 Auto Transmission as the people with 2009 are describing. The problem is there is no Reflash for my truck.

My problem is that when accelerating from a slow roll or coasting (5-10 mph)
The transmission seems to be hunting for a gear, the RPM go up to about 2,500rpm and once I let off the gas it finds a gear. I'm not sure what it would do if I stayed in the gas, as I automatically take my foot off the gas on instinct. And if it did find a gear that high in the RPM I going to bet it takes off QUICK.

I don't have any issues with hard shifting as the 2009 seemed to have had.
But when slowing down it does seem to have a find the right gear.
    It's a 2007 TRD Off-Road with 27,000 miles on it.

The best part is I just bought it. And it's out of Factory warranty.
Unless I some how get it covered on the powertrain if I can?

Maybe next time I'll try to stay in the gas and see what happens.
I just hate for it to not find a gear and some one hit me when turning in traffic.
