2008 4x4 5 speed manual transmission vent/breather locations

    2008 Access Cab 4WD, 2.7L 5 speed
    I've had two bouts of leaking transmission gear oil coming out of the bellhousing. I think it may be a clogged breather and high pressure pushing gear oil out through the front seal. The most recent occurrence was after many dusty miles, wondering if the dust could have clogged the breather. Where are they all located and can they be serviced?

    They are on the top and the hoses come up the firewall behind the engine.

    FSM makes no reference to a vent that I can find but looking at pictures I'd be willing to bet its this guy.

    It's on the shifter base, easy to check. Remove the whole base with 4 bolts, or probably can just unscrew the breather if you can get your hands in there.
