New to the Forum and I have done a great deal of searching, can't seem to find a clear answer to what I am contemplating. So here it is:

I have a 2008 Double Cab 4x4 TRD. It came with 265/75R16 tires. I had a Readylift SST installed and now want to go up on the size of the tires. It seems that my choice would be either 285/75R16 or 305/70R16. The majority of my time spent off road is in the Georgia/Alabama clay going to and from the hunting club.

The issue I am trying to figure out is that I would like for the tires to stick out of the fenderwells a little more than usual, I like the look on other Toyotas that i have seen. After reading all the forums on backspacing, etc. I am confused at exactly what I need to do to accomplish this. I was going to keep the stock wheels, but am willing to upgrade if it is necessary to accomplish the wider stance look. Any recommendations? I will add pictures tonight when I get home.

The wheel/tire (if I have to upgrade) combination I am swayed toward is the DC-1 Wheel in 16x8 from Dick Cepek and the Fun Country II's in 305/70R16. Not locked into that, but that is my leaning at this point.

To much to list...see sig for more...
Website via ReadyLift says 32's max. 285/75R16's are just a hair under 33's. You will run into rubbing issues. If you want larger and wider then you risk the rubbing at full lock. Lot of people get away with 285's on stock 7" wide wheels w/ spacers but I would suggest for a wider stance...a smaller backspacing wheels and wider wheels.

I think I have gotten part of this figured out. I ordered the 1.25" spacers that everyone has recommended on here and I will go with the stock rims. For the tire, I am looking at the BFG AT in 295/75R16. Will this size work for this setup?
