2008 Stereo

Just wondering if anyone knows if an OEM STEREO RADIO MP3 6-CD PLAYER from a 2008 Tacoma will fit and work in a 2007 Tacoma. I currently have the stock 5 disk head unit in my truck. Thanks.

 

I am pretty sure it will fit no problem, however I am not sure that the factory one will play MP3's

Thanks Dan. I am wondering because there is one for sale on eBay and it says it is for year models 08-09.

 

that's wierd, I am prettry sure that the factory stereo would fit 2005-2009 since there really has not been a change. I thinkl if you want one that plays MP3 I think it has to have come out of an 09, but I could be wrong on that. HOpefully someone will be along soon with more info than me.

 

I don't know if there are any there right now but you may want to troll through the buy/sell/trade area: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/buy-sell-trade/ and see if there are any head units there. If not post that you are looking for one, people are always changing stuff and you can probably find one.
