I have found other threads but still for my particular Taco I'm unsure.

i'm currently rotating from fron to rear.

But I'm thinking i would like to rotate all 4 tires where the right-rear goes to left front, and then when it comes time to buy new tires I'll buy 3 and use the Spare in the new rotaion and put the "Best" old tire as the "new spare."

So, Right-Rear to Left Front. Left-Rear to Right Front
    Then both frojt's Straight Back?

We are in the upper left, unless you have uni-directional tires. Note discount tire will do the upper left as well.

    1. read the manual its in it. 5 tire and 4 tire rotation
    2. your spare is an unstyled steelie and will not match the rest of your tires.

I did the rotation like the example in the upper left.

I have the stock BFG that came with it...

I'm not sure if they are uni directional...?

They're not uni. Its mostly street/performance/sport type tires. They would be labled on the side with a directional arrow if they were. No worries mate

    Still confused...

I DO have 4x4 but only use it a couple times a year.

The Owners manual states just front to rear...?

Dude, it's the same every single time you do it as the pic posted before. 4x4 and RWD are the same rotation pattern. Our trucks run RWD in 2WD mode. Ignore what the owners manual says, this is what the tire industry states (including Discount Tire, BFG, ect).

Also Discount Tire will rotate your tires for free. They honor tires from the factory on a new vehicle the same as if you bought them at Discount.
