2009 Gray with black badges??

First off, thanks for the compliment, it means a lot!!! I just don't think my truck looks "that" good but everyone keeps telling me that it does so I guess I better start believing you guys!!! Second, yeah his name is T-Rev and I actually talked to him a bunch before about our trucks. I think your truck would look sick with the BHLM and eye lids. Yeah they won't stand out as much as white but would still look killer! Don't regret the truck you bought man, MG is a sweet color!!!

 

You are very welcome as again it is a very nice looking truck. I do not really regret the gray as the neutral colors such as gray and black really do it for me however I was partial to white in the past.

I was once a Mustang lover and over the years had 3 total and all were solid white. I had the smoked headlight covers along with the tails blacked out and the contrast between a super clean white vehicle with well placed black accents simply can not be beaten......just a very classy look in my opinion.

I decided to go with Gray this time as I thought it would be unique as it is a new color for the Tacoma. I was torn between the Timberland Mica vs gray however I also have a 99 Taco that is the jade green color almost like the new Timberland color thus I went with the MG. Now I am finding many others also like the MG and after a while I will not be so unique after all.....still really like the gray color though.

So again I do not regret my purchase I just feel like certain visual mods will not stand out as much on the gray as it does with the white. I may be wrong after I find a few pics with BHLM-Lids-and black badging on a MG truck but it seems none have done this yet to the gray version.

I am also thinking very hard on the Satoshi mod however have not decided yet. In some ways I really like it if the mesh is small enough to not see through very well however I have seen some where it looks like a big huge hole for all to see the radiator. I like the clean look of some I have seen where the mesh is just right and they usually have a small TRD emblem or something similiar in the bottom corner. So much I really want to try yet I will most likely wait to see the results of others hard work before I commit to it.
