Hello everyone. Finally saved up enough money to get a new Tacoma. I tried to keep the options/price down, but really love the truck. I got a good deal with the 1,000 dollar rebate. They were having trouble selling the sr5 package with the tan interior. I figured I would put black wet okole seat covers on it, and I have just ordered black weather tech floor mats. I also figured I would save a little money by not getting the TRD package, because I will lift it and change the shocks. I still got the tow package, nicer rims, and the back up camera and a 6 cd stereo. I didn't need the blue tooth or compass feature.
Just want to say thanks to everyone, because I spent hours and hours reading all the reviews before I made my purchase. This site helped me save money, and helped me decide what I wanted. My only concern with the truck is that my old 83 toyota long bed (7 foot bed) weighs about 2500 pounds less. Obviously the new one is way more comfortable, but a big difference in weight and probably a lot more parts to shake around. I imagine that weight will make a difference in four wheel driving, but man the new rig is fun to drive and comfortable.........

Welcome and congrats on your new truck!! I did the same thing, SR5 pkg w/ tan & added the wet oakley's/black liners plus modded to my liking. Mine was a leftover but hit my basic needs as in DC, 4WD, tow. Its all good whichever way you go. There's a thread on getting a good price on the WO seat covers that another member posted. Search it up & again post up some pics!!

welcome! if you get the rear spring tsb performed, you will essentially have the TRD suspension too - almost wish i would have done that
