2009 Tacoma deal question

Hi, I have been lerking around for a few weeks now. I am in the market for a 2009 tacoma 4x4 v6 auto access cab with the trd sport package. The best price I got so far has been 27,065 plus tax and tags. Is this a good price? Just wondering if its a deal compared to what others have paid.

How much off sticker is that?

 

check with Edmunds. It helped me figure a buying price.

 

Sticker 29696 - 1881 - 750 rebate = 27065

That was his first offer. I plan on trying to get him to come down a little more.

Edmunds says the TMV of the vehicle is 27,235 before rebate. The dealer is at 27,815 then they take off the rebate to make the truck 27,065. Does this mean they should be able to come down another 500-800? That is what I am going to try for, or ask for a few dealer add ons. Does this sound good?

I just bought a 09 DB LB Fully load sport package 4x4 for 29.500 with 1000 rebate. so that makes it 28.500.

 

Bought mine for $28,032.00 on the road. Ron

2009 Tacoma Access Cab,4x4, Off-Road Pkg, V-6, Auto.,Tow Pkg, daytime running lights,TRD Catback exhaust

 

I picked mine up about a month ago for around 25,200+ tax & tags after rebate (09 Access Cab, 4x4, Trd Sport, tow package, Timberland Mica). Truck had to be brought in from another dealer as well. I had looked at all of the local dealers and had emailed a couple others. Prior to talking to the dealer I purchased from the best I had come across was 26,000+ for the same truck in red off their lot.

Should also note that I have the 6-speed where I see you are looking for the auto.

 

I just got an 09, Double Cab, TRD Sport 4x4, V6 with tow package, floor mats and the 6 CD changer for 27,495 (drive away price) and I feel I should have tried to do better.
