Hi everyone, I've been planning buying a new Tacoma for awhile and I was wondering if anyone has had recent experience buying a new 2009 Access Cab with the TRD Offroad package (prices for the Sport package also welcome, I don't see that much of a difference), Towing Package. I don't care about the enhanced audio system or anything.

    Any help appreciated!

Edmunds.com. Punch in the options for the truck you want and it will give you the True Market Value (what people are paying in your area) and the invoice.

i dont have trd pkg, but my sr5 was $27k before the negotiations began. before trade taken into consideration i got them to take 3k off...so $24k before trade. id figure somewhere around 27-30k, depending on configuration and which trd pkg sounds about right.

Thanks so much... The guy at Shelor was nice but I had a feeling I wasn't getting the best price.

yeah what i always do find the truck you want print the internet price and make dealers work for you, you must think people are not buying a lot of trucks so they will work for you just take the price into one dealer and see if he can beat it if so take that to another dealer and just make the dealers fight for your business

Right, I'm planning on buying sometime during Thanksgiving break--I'll definitely keep those dealerships in mind. I've had good dealings with Miller before.

I graduated high school there, my parents have moved to GA since. I'm looking at dealerships in both states, I dont mind driving a few hours for a good deal.
