    Morning,

I have never bought a cold air intake before so i trying to figure out which one to buy.
    My truck is a 2009 4 Door Tacoma TRD 4X4 (V6)

I know K&N is one of the best out there but i also know that Toyota has a TRD version.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!!

AFE. It is the exact same as the TRD but cheaper.

And K&N isn't the best out there.

I agree that K & N is not the best, look @ AFE or TRD. Look @ getting a Pro dry filter for whatever you decide on, only takes one time over oiled and your MAF sensor is toast.

What are your expectations from a CAI?

    Looks or performance?

In my opinion it is too much $ for a couple HP.

You are right about that, they sound & look cool but not alot of HP for the money.

Well, I was looking for better HP and Gas but looks too!! I figured i would start the the CAI and then move to exhaust system (Borla)

See i usually buy my trucks already set the way i like it but this truck was a rare find for the money so i need to do everything on my own.

In Feb 2009 i traded a 2007 Ford F150 FX2 sport truck w/ 39k miles and major issues from car accident for the 2009 TRD 4 Door 4X4 dealer demo *Total cost 27k flat out the door*

    Killer deal huh!!
