TRD package...and it doesn't haul to capacity. Not sure why you're taking this personal, we've all been dicked by Toyota for not having the correct springs.

So how much offroading happens in Boston again?

I'm not taking it personal I'm just saying I got exactley what I wanted - a great looking truck!

And correct you are. There is zero offroading here in Boston hence the reason for the sport package and not the off road package. I have no interest in off roading and will haul very little if any so that's why I'm saying the springs probably will not benefit me at all. The 4x4 will come in handy during the winter months though and the fake scoop just rocks!

I'd make them do it...but I have yet to also. I just hate it when companies advertise one thing and you get another. Wish I could have afforded the 4x4! :)

So besides flat sand, how much offroading happens in East Coast Florida?:)

Have you ever visited the Northeast? Bring that 4x2 up here and follow the leader. Lol. I could'nt resist. Just jokin around. I have an 09 4x4 and i'm in the same boat. I just finished filling out the e-mail form. I took the first step. If I dont hear anything in a few days, I'll try the 1-800#. From what i've read on here, It sounds promising! It sucks that they dont correct an old problem right from the getgo!

They did not change the rear leafs at all. My dealer did the TSB on mine a couple months ago no problem.

I took mine to the dealer (Don McGill on Katy fwy) and complained about the ride quality when towing my camper. I had some photos in hand showing it riding on the bumper stop.. He said there was no TSB for the 09, but he could call Toyota for me. A week later, he let me know they said SURE.. no problem, getting it done Tuesday next week.

    SWEET!

All Tacomas with a harsh ride are elligible. With a prerunner sr5, I think you actually get the TRD suspension front and rear with the AAL.

Access cabs and double cabs only. It's a new four leaf pack I believe, not an AAL.

Don't pass on the TSB, I have an 09 DBL Cab Sport & I think the ride is much better post 4-leaf. It corners much better and I don't seem to have as much wheel hop when I hit bumps at speed. Just my .02

BTW. I got the TSB done. I did it all through e-mail. Too good to be true. What a difference. Rides and handles better. I think i'm going to put the 5100 billstiens on the front though. Its got a little rake i'd like to level out. From what i've seen here, they adjust and are the right solution. I love those 6" lifts. It's not practical for my lifestyle right now but man, I wan't that. One step at a time, I keep telling myself. I debadged the Silver streak today. Looks cool. Not sure weather to paint badges black or leave them off? I'm like a little kid again with this half a cigar rig!!!!!!!!!
