Someone else took all the info and did a how to...I believe it is still a work in progress for the powerfold option.

I forgot to ask about that part but anyway I took the plunge and ordered a set of 10-11 4runner side mirrors with everything on it from 1A Auto. Now I have to look for that elusive Rav4 heated mirror switch. Called up a dealer part dept and spoke to a very helpful guy but he was unable to find it in the part data system of Toyota (without the p/n, it's close to impossible). I then asked him to check the one on the highlander (01-03), he found it but it costs $95+! Geez, I really wonder where did that guy get the one from the Rav4 (what year?) for only $45? and all of us just longing for the p/n? Now, he just dissapeared from the TacomaWorld radar leaving all of us who are interested in this mod to struggle with the quest of finding it.:goingcrazy::help:

mytac, would you post up pictures and what you think about the 1A auto mirrors? I have been thinking about getting those.

Sure, after I got everything installed and working on the truck, I will post the pictures for you to see it.

    Shaggy,
I got the p/n but thanks anyway;), now the fun part is to find where to get it at a reasonably good price. The lowest I could find is $63 but after shipping and tax, it comes up to $80+ .

    Jones,
As promised, here are the pix of the finished retrofit of the side mirrors, everything works as intended. The mirrors from 1A Auto are really high quality for aftermarket stuff. Form, fit and function are right on, and the price is incredibly low comparing to stock. How they will fare in the long run, can't tell yet but for now, coudn't be a happier camper!;):D

Nice work, they look good. Only downside for me is that they are a gloss black. All the other black on my truck is flat, oh well.

Oh no, I left the cover unpainted, it's the natural color of the plastic material. If you want, you can just have it painted any color you want.;)

Yeah I know, but me+painting never quite works out well. Good work and good price though, still thinking. Thanks for reporting back.

Bump. I'm looking for a good source for the 5th Gen ('10-'12) 4 Runner mirrors.

If you go to Rock Auto parts, you can get both mirrors W/signal lights for a little over $110.00 a piece, FYI, just look up a 2010 4 Runner.
