2010 4x4 Double Cab TRD Sport Package good price?

I bought my 2011 DC TRD Sport SB 4x4 for $29,600.00 2 weeks ago

 

Sounds good, I paid a few hundred less for mine and it was used! But it had loads of accessories worth thousands!

 

Good Deal. Jump on it. I got my Magnetic Gray Double Cab, Long box, TRD Sports for $28,500 in June.

 

I paid about 27.5k for my early leftover '08 DC 4x4 TRD Sport shortbed........but I've been kicking my own ass for not buying the longbed, this thing always has the gate down when i'm hauling bikes or parts or lumber or whatever else wont fit........haha

 

Got this deal in Columbia, MO about two weeks ago:

2010 Tacoma DBL CAB V6 4x4 (Black Sand Pearl)
- TRD Sport Extra Value Pkg (no Bluetooth or JBL)
- Tow Pkg
- 6 CD changer
- Floor mats/sill protectors
- Daytime run lights (didn't care about this -was on truck)
- Flat running boards
- Front skid plate

After the $750 cash back incentive from Toyota - my out the door price was $27,950. I financed the balance after downpayment at 4.9% for 48 months - so it was actually better to take the $750 rather than 2.9% financing.

 

got my 09 dc short bed sport 4x4 for 27,500.00 OTD,also had the 1000.00 rebate

 

i'm about 3k upside down on my trade in. but i found a 2010 dc 4x4 off road package and offered 28,800 - out the door... they asked me to come let them see my trade.

so i sent an email to the salesman letting him know i was upside down like 3k on the trade. no response yet.

i'd be pretty surprised if they took this price. but i can have a check cut for them within 30 mins of signing the papers and they know it and with them trying to get the 2010 off the lot, maybe, just maybe, it'll work out.

I had a few setbacks. The truck that I wanted had to be shipped and ended up getting major hail damage on its way to the dealership, so needless to say I pretty much had to start all over in my process. The dealer I was working with did find the exact model I was looking for but it was obviously further away and they were going to charge me 1,000 to bring it in. Tried to get them to drop the shipping charges but wouldn't.

So I found a dealer that was willing to bring it in for me free of charge and actually gave me a better price. I ended up getting what I wanted, the 2010 Double Cab, TRD sport, 4x4, with towing package for 27,600.

Have had it for a few weeks now and I am loving it. I will miss my 1st gen though.

I am also seriously considering putting a camper/topper on the bed. Any suggestions out there as to which toppers are the best quality?

The price doesn't sound correct. The sticker price on what you noted is over $30,000 at the dealerships in New England. I find the $27,960 cost is without the Sports pkg etc.....

If you can get it fot the $27,960 I say its a good deal.

 

I paid that for mine in Mobile AL.

 

Got mine two weeks ago for $24,800 before ttl....hard loaded 09 dbl cab sht bed TRD off road 20k mi. In socal...

I felt good about it...

 

thats not a bad deal, I got mine for 28,000 including tax and tags using $500 off for Military, it took a while to get that price and the key was to get the dealers to compete with each other. also I found that it was easier to negotiate on a 2011 than a 2010
