You joined 6 years ago and this is only your 8th post?! Impressive! What size KO2 are you planning on getting? Are you planning on doing any other suspension mods other than just replace the front with 5100s?

My bad on the lack of posts lol God gave me 2 ears and 1 mouth

    Looking at " ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2- Size LT265/65/R17

And was thinking of both Front and rear Bilstein 5100's was thinking of add a 1" lift

I don't need anything as aggressive. I am mostly on pavement and dirt trails

The KO2s only come in Load E, so be aware that that will cause the ride to be rougher and your MPG to drop a little because it's a lot heavier. Also with the 5100s and stock coils, you're preloading the coils causing it to ride rougher. With both things combined, you may be unhappy with how it rides after, which would be a super bummer.

With the rear, unless you plan on lifting the rear as well, the 5100s are of no use. They will ride the same as stock, and the only benefit to them is when the back is lifted.

My recommendation would be to try and find an aggressive all terrain in standard load, which will ride better and still do fine for what you need. The general grabber AT2s are a great tire for that IMO

Thanks for input! Was also considering sustaining my current tire Michelin ltx m/s2 p265/65r17 and just increase the ride height to 1"... I am running (2010, 156,000Miles) stock shocks and I am in desperate need of a replacement.

If that's the case, I think it would behoove you to replace all your suspension if it's in the budget! Could go with a nicer lift, and have the tires come at a different time.

With your rear leaf springs, how many leafs are there total? What I'm getting at is if they're the old ones, you may be eligible for an entire new leaf pack from Toyota, free of charge. Then you could do your minor lift in the front and you'd be good to go.

@EatSleepTacos I was all over that recall "14V604000" when it came out. My budget is Quality Assurance, is there other suspension kits I am over looking to give me a level look?

What does that budget mean in numbers? Also how are your rear leafs looking? If they're looking good and you never carry a load, an add a leaf is sufficient. If your leafs are shot, then some new ones would be a good idea.

A few mods here and there and counting....
For an inexpensive but quality 1in lift, you can go with a set of 2016-17 Tacoma front stock coilovers. Throw a 1in AAL in the rear and you're golden.

he also gave you 2 eyes..... have you read or searched ANYTHING on this forum in 6 years???

I think it's safe to say that the setup you asked about is literally the most commonly asked about suspension / tire setup on this forum.

Not being a dick.... but Google and searching this forum will give you all the answers (and then some) to these questions.

The first ride height setting up from none is 0.85" and that is what my front 5100s are at. The other two options (if memory serves me) are 1.75" and 2.5"... I really enjoy the 5100s over the stock Bilsteins. Much better ride.

The rear 5100s are not adjustable height. I used Ride-Rite airbags and change the height and firmness with air. Amazing results and have used the Ride Rites on my 2005 and 2010 Tacomas.

Because I have the Off Road TRD 4-door (and the standard bed it comes with, that some call a 'short bed') and my tires are 16" (265/75-16) Hankook DynaPro ATMs, I can't comment on the rest of your question.

    Good luck!
