just got a 10 dcab 4x4 offroad with an auto tranny

it does something that just bugs me

    engine/tranny braking
i like to coast instead of riding brakes when turning/stopping
but the truck does not coast. you can feel the tranny downshifting when i get to 25 mph it releases and starts coasting fine

    anyone else experience this?

I actually like it, especially when in the mountains. I was surprised when I didn't have to ride the brakes going down the hills.

it takes some getting used to, but these trannys are suppose to be bullet proof.
