Not to mention my buddy had bought them for his red 88 and then went with 14" so I got them for $75 each. :)

This thing is pretty freaking sweet. Who makes the camper shell you are running?

It's a snug top snug pro. I upgraded to the fiberglass side doors instead of the flimsy metal frame window doors and upgraded to the tinted frameless rear window. It is great for access.

I believe with the upgrades it was $2,100.00 installed. I had the carpet upgrade also.

You should try jacking the rear corner of the truck up to make sure you have enough hi-lift to get a rear tire off the ground. On my 97 GM w/ the long springs I can't get the rear tire off the ground, all the way to the top of the hi-lift, 48". So, I have to wrap a chain around the axle and frame to limit travel. Anyway, I only mention it since you switched the same rear springs. Better to find out now than in a pinch.

I am having my sliders welded on next week so that will be my go to point. Good heads up though.

Yeah, sliders are a great jack point, but it will still apply even with them. Only using a floor jack under the axle wouldn't apply. The droop from the longer springs will be a factor for any raising of the body/frame. As long as you have a bit of chain or strap, though, you should be good.

I have an old pic of my 97's rear flex. You'll have to excuse the photochop on it though.. ha ha (an old buddy being funny) it's the only pic I can find quickly. The 63" GM springs flex like mad. In the pic, that tire is nowhere near lifting, even though it's not a jacking pic.. you get the idea. They'll stretch and stretch until you run out of jack, unless you have a 60" and even then, I'd still limit axle travel with the chain/strap to prevent having to jack it up too high out on a variable surface that you'll likely have out wheeling. Just safer for you and the truck that way.

Any seven offroad is the shop I went through for the spring swap and they checked through things and we decided that it was the right size shock for the factory mounts. I told them that if bigger is better than don't pop the bands on the 12's. my buddy said "you deband and you own them. :)

Ha ha.. I should add, that was before I found a better length shock too. That's probably just a bit before the shock maxed out. I poured through pro comps different shocks one day and found a set for the rears that gave me a couple of more inches of stretch without effecting compression.

You'll love the 63's when you get to take it out and see what they can do. Looking forward to seeing how the truck turns out.

I've seen guys change the stock mount and throw some LONG shocks on. I'm sure you will end up doing this haha

I did a little work on the truck last night. I primed and painted my bumper an put some edge trim on my rear panel cut
