I had my 2011 Tacoma "treated" and it looks like they just squirted goo in random places on the frame. It didn't look cleaned or covered by anything substantial. Toyota is supposed to take care of this....other than complaining to the local dealer, any suggestions folks? Should I contact Toyota directly?

Extended 12year frame warranty is contingent on Toyota applied anti corrosion treatment.
If you got a letter from Toyota
    Read it.

My appointment is in a week, and they need it for 2 days. Everything I read says the treatment is supposed to go inside the frame. If you are not happy, I would start with the service manager. I am sure the dealership gets paid on a flat rate warranty claim, so if they have to redo something, its on the mechanic and dealer.

I bought my truck and a year later the dealership(harr Toyota) i bought from treated the frame and did such crap job i brought it to another Toyota dealer to inspect, i told them i was willing to pay if i was wrong, they told me not only was it terrible they found 2 holes in the frame! New frame for me and they installed my lift kit and replaced a bunch for free, even had a taco loaner
