    Hello,

My mechanic just removed and replaced my evaporator and by coincidence my key fobs doesn't work anymore. I tried 2 program sequences from youtube and with no success. Any possibility 2011 has a different programming squence? I have a "G" key. Would that make a difference?

I was hoping an easy DIY fix.

    1. Try the procedure in that link. I got a 2nd remote and just googled the procedure in my driveway, didn't take the first 2 times. I had read it before buying the remote, looked closely, and the one I had clicked on that time was missing a step. I found a site with the correct & complete steps and it worked the first time.

    2. Does it have good batteries? We have an Energizer display at work with an IR/RF target that lights up if your remote is working. Or, most TPMS tools can also verify that the remote isn't dead. The ECU shouldn't un-learn the codes, so my money would be on either the battery or the remote itself being dead.

    I think that's correct. Coincidence.

Start simple. Put a new battery in the fob.

Soooo, he had the dash completely out to replace the evaporator. I'm betting that he didn't plug the door control receiver back in.

Where is the door control receiver? Something I can do myself quickly or do I need to bring it back to the mechanic? I been so frustrated...I can't get the truck to get into programming mode.
