2011 Power Window off its track

On our 2011 Tacoma Access Cab, the drivers window detached from the tray. I removed the door cover per this thread and found the clips were good, it was the black adhesive which had failed. Removed and cleaned the window and used E6000 adhesive. Works great!

 

The black adhesive was still gobbed up on the window and was extremely difficult to remove. I actually just pressed it into the new clip and there was enough tension that the window didn't come out easily....so I didn't add any new adhesive to mine and it's been going fine for a couple of months now.
