2011 Pre Runner Towing Harness

    I bought my Tacoma used, it's a base model. Made several mods and added a hitch, so far.

    Today I'm installing this Harness (Toyota P/N 08921-04960). Routed the harness through the grommet and kick plates. However I cannot find this 4-pin vehicle connector in the instructions.

    I removed the panel and fuse block but all I see are these plugs in the pictures.

    I think the 9-pin goes to the converter. I'll keep searching for the 4-pin, but I don't see it.

    Found it, finally. It was buried lower left, facing downward, behind the emergency brake peddle. Now I can tow trailers but don't plan on towing any RV's for now.
    The installation instructions that came with the OEM part were fairly easy to follow.
