    Hi guys,

I'm new here. I have vibrations which I think/thought were coming from the driveline at speeds of 55+.

I replaced the u-joints and found that the rear u-joint wasn't drilled all the way through. After replacing the u-joints I still have a vibration after 55+.

I took it in for a rotation and balance. The vibrations are still there.

I installed a CB drop to see if that would fix the problem, yet the vibration is still there.

The vibration starts around 55mph and is still present when in neutral.

I am looking for advice as far as what to check next. Alignment? Roadforce balance?

I am experiencing vibrations accompanied with a howl of sorts...I'm wondering if it could be a warped rotor? Alignment issue?

I'm running 33" BFG AT KO2, LR UCAs, OME 3" coilovers with 1" top plate spacers

These are just some key points for me.
I am thinking something in the wheels/tires.
Start with the cheapest fix maybe? Checking alignments are typically free until they have to do something to it.
Roadforce balancing with cost you something right off.
    Good luck OP.

I was wondering if it was an issue with the wheels and spacer combo maybe?

There are no spacers. The rims are offset

I'll have 4wheelparts re-check their alignment. IF that doesn't solve it I'll work with DTC on the tires/wheel combo.

Is it a pulsating vibration or is it constant? I'm dealing with a similar issue accept mine is a pulsating vibration between 55-75, completely goes away over 80. My truck is stock accept 5100 @.85

It's somewhat of a pulse, but it's difficult to tell. I'm going to try a new stretch of highway that will hopefully offer a smoother ride and then I can get a better idea of the vibration itself.

I was looking at my alignment yesterday and it looks like my driver's side front wheel is out of camber. Unless it's just my eyes. I'm going to get this checked as soon as I can get out of the office.
