2012 problem

I am seeing all these threads over 2012s and i must say i am getting very very jealous...Seeing all them kinda makes me wish i had one, but i still love my truck to much to part with it anyone else think the same?

 

Not really...I traded a '01 Dodge Durango for my 2012 and couldn't be happier

 

I traded my 2006 2WD taco for my 2012. Haven't looked back. Couldn't be happier.

Going from a 2.7 to a 4.0 was a nice bonus.

 

Nothing changed other than looks.

 

I like the 12's to but I love my 06'.

Precisely. I think the front end on the 2012 is a little more aggressive but the 05+ models are a little cleaner looking up front. I'd call them different but both are nice. The truck hasn't changed.

I traded my 2006 Dodge Power Wagon for my 2012 TRD and I am very happy with that decision.

 

You always say this but somehow my 2012 seems so much nicer than my 2011. Toyota does a lot of subtle changes. For example, the interior has a much classier and modern appearance, the steering wheel feels awesome, they finally put insulation in the doors so my speakers don't rattle the door when the stereo is cranked, great bluetooth integration--the streaming bluetooth integrates with an iphone pefectly, the engine tick is all but inaudible making the engine sound so much smoother, no driveline vibes on the highway, slightly better gas mileage (about an average of 1 mpg better per tank), etc. For me, being satisfied with a vehicle has a lot to do with the little tactile stuff, and the 2012 is a bigger improvement than the parts would suggest. Just saying, you seem angry anytime people say the 2012 is nicer than the 2011--it is.

ive had the pleasure of owning both a 2011 and 2012. Basically the same truck but there are alot of subtle touches of the 2012 that im very pleased with.

What i really cant wait for is for a 2005-2011 guy or girl to swap the front end - im sure parts are pricey now but soon enough they will drop in price and it should be a fairly simple swap with some standard garage tools. Cant wait .............
