    Hey audio geniouses :D

Im curious whats involved with installing a 2012 stock radio into my 2010 (non JBL)

Is it simple Plug and Play?
Is there a special harness I need?
    Custom wiring needed?

Maybe someone has write up on this they can link me to??

Oh I have a 6disc and the one im looking at is also a 6disc...if that makes a difference

Also I currently have the steering wheel radio controls...not bluetooth.
Will this radio work with my steering controls?
Or again do i have to do a bunch of custom harnesses?

You need to swap the dash also, it doesn't fit. There are a couple of members who just plugged the existing wiring in to the 12+ HU but the HU itself does not fit in the dash without some modification.

Not plug and play unfortunately. The past couple years the radio has change a lot. If you already have it get a good wire diagram for both trucks get the proper connectors and wire yourself.
