What can cause a clicking/popping on bumps or pot holes and while Turing. But it only does it intermittently. It also does it like once of twice when I rock my truck hard back and forth?

    HELP!

Sway bar end links feel tight. No cuts in the boots either. Got an alignment done and the guy said everything looked great. Nothing needed replaced. But it still clicks/pops.

Ball joints maybe? Could try jacking up the truck a bit by the LCA and see if there's any play in the wheel. Do you have an aftermarket skid plate that might not be bolted tight enough?

No it's stock skid plate. And they are tight. I personally haven't jacked it up and looked. Les Schwab did and he said everything was good. So that's what I'm goin off of.

If the alignment was done recently, Id check the torque on the LCA cam bolts. Should be 100 ft-lbs, the alignment monkeys around here do it hand tight, which causes a popping noise when turning.

Yea that all are tight as hell. So I rocked my truck while underneath it this morning. I put my ear up to the lower control arm and the popping or clicking sound seems like it was coming from the lower shock bushings. Has anybody had problems with the lower shock bushing going out or seizing?

Can you loosen the shock bolt/nut, give it a spray of WD40, and while loose, rock the truck and see if it still occurs?

Yea I silicone lubed it. But I did NOT loosen the bolt. But I'm going to my mechanic tomorrow since I finally found exactly where the popping is coming from. And I'll see what he says. It's 100% coming from the left LCA. Either ball joint, shock bushing, or LCA bushing.

My friend has a shot LCA bushing and it squeaks so it might not be that, granted his LCAs are aftermarket... best of luck!

Mechanic said it was the front LCA bushings making the popping and clicking noise.
