Ok guys, sorry I've been MIA for the past week, just finished a BRUTAL move. Moved home and businesses and it's a complete disaster around here...not including the WISP couldn't get me the connection they promised and I'm operating off of my 4G piggybacked via my phone.

I may have to start my own WISP in order to get service now...

It would help. Those front bolts were a "issue" when mounting the winch.

Enlarging the holes or moving them up would help future customers with the install.
I had to:smash:mine up into place so its good for now but if they ever need to come out :ballchain::help:

Review time! I put this bumper, a smittybilt XRC 9500lb winch, OME lift with 886 coils, icon uniball UCA's, and a set of 305/65r17 mickey thompson ATZ P3's on my truck Thursday&Friday last week. I went to a wedding on Saturday, then Sunday morning I hit the trail. I did the Whipsaw trail near Princeton, BC over two days and was pretty impressed with the setup.

Bumper install was pretty easy. I'm pretty happy with the fit and look. It didn't take any big hits on the trip but looks like it could hold up to the rocks pretty well. I did use the winch a couple times and the bumper didn't fall off, so that's a bonus.

The OME lift with the 886's is great. I have a synthetic winch line and this bumper is fairly light so I only added about 100lbs to the front end. I also have two 20" light bars and a beefy steel mounting bracket... I would guess these weight about 50lbs total but I have never weighed them. The ride is very comparable to the stock TRD Sport suspension on the road, but waaayyy better offroad. It's fairly stiff with the 886's which makes the ride a bit harsh on washboard or otherwise bumpy dirt roads at speed, but definitely no worse than stock. It's much better on big obstacles and at low speeds. I removed the sway bar and added the UCA's at the same time as the lift so I can't say how it would ride without doing these things but I'm very happy with it. All in all, I've retained almost all the on road usability and drastically increased offroad capability.

The only drawback to my new setup is due to the tires. They are much heavier and a little larger diameter than stock which has made a big impact on power and fuel consumption. They're also much noisier than stock (obviously), but quieter than most MT's and more comparable to an AT. I'm very happy with them in both on and offroad traction though. Don't take this as a negative review, they're an amazing tire. It's just the same trade off as going to any larger, more aggressive tire.

Very nice. You have Dakars in the back? How's the stance (rake) with the 886s? Considering the same suspension myself, I don't mind stiff but don't want the front higher than rear.

Obviously your bumper is defective as I designed these to fall off if the winch is used...for liability reasons of course. You need to return it to us immediately. :D

I have the TSB leaf and a 1.5" deaver AAL I got with the kit from toytec. Front sits 1/2" lower than the rear. I am expecting the front to come down a little as it gets broken in too.

Id advise not returning it to Brad he's just going to repackage it and send it back out to the next unsuspecting customer.
Send it to me and I'll chop it up into 3 1/2 pieces with a carbon arc rig and dispose of properly.
I do require the synthetic line be wrapped around the bumper from one side to the other using the entire length of rope then snugged tightly with the winch to insure it doesn't come completely apart during the UPS shipping.

    Nothing but love Brad.
I would like to add this is a very solid product, the attention to detail is impeccable
and well thought out with a perfect fit. The many types of winches this can accomadate along with the subtle differences between every truck and still be able to install without the assistance of a second person made this an easy install.
I had the opportunity to try this setup out by pulling a full size truck buried in the sand and the bumper didn't flex, bend or move in anyway it was very solid.
For those that maybe concerned about the cost I can tell you this is a very inexpensive well built product,I've been welding and fabricating for 30 years and having this sitting in front of me it would cost more for the material my time and what it would take to duplicate.
With all that said go out and buy this bumper with the confidence of a quality built extension for your truck.
