Does anyone have a snap type soft tonneau cover one their 2012 double cab? I'm wondering how the "gap" is taken care of. The bed rail caps are higher than the tailgate top and the rail across the back of the cab.

I have the Access Vanish. I tried loosening all the bolts and having a buddy push everything down while I tightened them up again. Worked somewhat, but there is still a slight gap. I guess that's where the extra vinyl at each end comes in handy...to keep the elements out.

The one I use to have had a thicker piece of foam on the end rails I think like 3/4 of an inch thick so when the tonneau was clamped down the front one would squish into the gap. When you close the tailgate the gate would push up on the foam on the bottom of the rail and fill the gap.

The Extang snap covers, as well as all of their other cover models, have extra thick foam at each end for the Tacomas. Truxedo does similar on the LoProQT and Truxport velcro styles.

Anyone know where I can get some kind of foam/weather strip for cheap to close that gap better?
