Just did this. That's a tight little spot, but got it done. I'll post an update in a few days.
    Thanks Ryan

The blue wire gets cut, then spliced into the red/white wire.

Worked great in my 2010, plenty of wire left to restore someday.

When I bought my truck it had 33s on it, I went to get some smaller everyday tires and found out the previous owner just removed the TPMS sensors altogether. Rather than pay $300 for new ones, the light is now disabled!

It should be the same, take it apart and check the wire colors first

I just tore it to it a few minutes ago. I'm at work so didn't have all my crap I needed . So I decided to pull the gauge cluster apart and black tape it . In the process of doing that I found the tpms reset switch. And I will be damned pushed the button and it reset my light .
This is my 6 th Toyota but the newest one to date . Only had it a few days so I'm still learning all the little tricks and gadgets . My next fix will be the re-solder The temp and compass trick .

Is this a 2 into 1 connector? Looks like the red/white and blue going into a red/white. Is that correct?

It's an in line tap, the red/ white stripe wire goes in and out of the connector and the blue wire gets connected to it.

HELP!! Tried to do this without removing the radio surround, did the wire cut/splice successfully.

NOW I can’t get the connector plugged back in with my short/fat fingers! Looking in vain on my phone for a thread showing how to remove the radio surround and can’t find one... can anyone link instructions to remove the surround??

Mine ‘12 took about 5-6 days to register there were no more wheels sensors— then the light was on continuously.
