Plasti dip is holding up great so far. Just had to touch it up around the rims after changing tires but it blends nicely and looks great still. Still probably peel it this spring and just paint them black.



The mirror relocation bracket came from a member on here. Forget his name but I'm sure you can find it with a search. I strongly recommend it! So nice without the mirror in the middle of my field of vision

Thanks! I originally bought the bestop to resale and make money on (got it for $250 off Craigslist. Only used once by the original owner ). But now I'm pretty attached to it haha. I put it on my truck to take picture to put in the for sale thread...... Then it didn't come off there till the tonneau went back on for winter

all said and done was about $200 for everything shipped

When im not on a road trip the antenna goes behind the back seats.. and the CB also goes behind the back seats in a storage compartment. I'll get day light pictures next nice day.. also going to tune it tomorrow. havent transmitted yet but reception is fantastic even untuned.

I got power for the CB from the cig lighter (had to take most the dash apart to get behind that dumb thing).. ran the coax up under the driver seat then under the carpet to the console... took out the seat made it much easier. The BAMF mount hit the gate.. took a lot of heating/beated to get it to fit and clear the bed side and gate while holding the antenna level/straight. wish i didnt pay for the powder coat since i had to repaint it anyway. This set up will also work nice with my bestop supertop on this summer.

 

swapped out the 35% front tint for 25% matches the rear much better. the 35 was just too light

Good looking truck. Great job on the BHLM and lucking into the tires. Both really changed your truck for the better. I keep wanting to do the BHLM, but haven't found the nerve yet.

 

Sick looking truck! How are you liking the Coopers? I am thinking about getting those tires next but not a lot of people are running them.

 

The coopers have been great. 13k miles on them so far and only at 14/32 out of 18/32. I'm actually selling the tires and wheels that are on it now (in for sale section) because I picked up some duratracs and stealth 6 wheels. Only down side with the coopers are their weight and they are a little noisy. By changing to stealth 6 and duratracs I'm saving about 18lbs per tire/wheel

I see that you had in your future mods the f5s why did you end up buying the f6? and by the way how do you like the good years so far? nice build

 

I changed my mind to the f6 because the tires/wheel combo was actually lighter with the 265/70r17s and stealth 6s then the 265/75r16s and f5's. the good years are great tires I had some on a jeep before I got the taco.

 

Changed to the soft topper for summer. And stealth 6 wheels duratracs 5100s and sock monkey decals

ImmrYo - he's the dude who does the relocation brackets. Best $$ i've spent so far on my Taco for sure!
