Love what you've done with your truck so far...

I have a 2013 DCSB black sport that I'm in the process of modding and was wondering if there was a specific wirte-up you followed to tint the tails/3rd brake/mirror marks?? I saw you thanked SoCal for the idea..

anyhow, your truck looks great and sounds like we've got similar ideas for future suspension/tire mods.. :)

i copied the look from SoCal but i believe he used tint film. I used VHT nite shade.. remove the light, clean, wet sand with 2000 grit, clean, dry, tape off what you want to stay clear, spray 3 light coats of VHT nite shade, remove tape, clear coat with a good quality clear (i used PPG). you can use spray bomb clear coat but it will deteriorate over time and never look as good as a good quality clear coat like PPG/Dupont. I didnt wet sand and buff my clear coat but you could if you need to. mine was pretty clean with very little orange peel.

Great Info..been looking to get this done for a while now..
Greatly appreciate your help on this!

Also, those tires are Sick for $90!!
Do you think its necessary for me to remove all the wheels/tires to plasti-dip my stock 17" wheels? I saw a write up on here with someone who left them on and used a deck of cards around the back of the wheels...
    Thanks again.. Cheers. :)
