I have a 2013 tacoma with 3" lift and 285's, I've had the vsc engage a few times around shape curves and had someone tell me there's a way to bypass an inertia switch to stop it? Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? I've been searching all day but haven't found what I'm looking for. Thanks!

This is common. Mine does the same around sharp corners. There is a recalibration method for the VSC. If I find it, I'll post it.

There is a pdf file in the first post of this thread with the recalibration procedure

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/41215-lift-vsc-answer.html

In the meantime you can turn off your VSC system by holding the VSC button for 3-5 seconds while stopped , the AUTO LSD and VSC OFF lights will illuminate , keep holding the button till the AUTO LSD light goes out leaving only the VSC OFF light illuminated

The system will reset if you push the button again or restart the truck

Have you done the recalibration? If so, did it work well? Mine has done this about 3 or 4 times and it's pulled me in different directions at different times.

I've had it done yes , it worked for my 265/70/17 MT's but didn't work with my 275/70/17 ATm's . I turn my VSC off at start up now

Hmmmm. I guess I'll give a try and see if it works. Thanks for the response. Something weird that I've noticed with turning off my VSC is after a certain speed it still prevents me from fish tailing.

Didn't mean to thread jack OP.
