CAD is running a bit behind and I'm in the middle of another prep for my cancer testing which is kicking my large arse.

So.. running a few days behind. Hang with me, believe me it's at the top of my list.

Eh.. it seems I'll live...I'll know for sure next month. :)

It's what delayed things so much for the 05-11 and got discussed a bit in that thread... so I won't delve in to it again here.

But thank you, I appreciate it.

Ok, we have the production prototype scheduled for build on June 5 or thereabouts. Shop has a full schedule but hopefully we can squeeze it in sooner. After that we do a test fit and make sure no changes are needed and off to production it goes. Probably a 2 week lead time after that.

Once we have the final test fit and a solid production date I'll start getting a list together here as I need a good head count so we have enough built in the first run. I have 12+ Taco owners from all over (not just here) wanting this.

We shall see. Until I have the final production prototype in my hands and know what our productions costs are for sure (I think they are pretty stable) AND I want to see what kind of commitments we have on this. The 05-11 bumpers, after a ton of requests, have been collecting dust (hence my inventory blowout) and I basically lost money on that product after dev costs and I'm not sure I'll even build any more of them.

When it's time I'll open up a group buy thread with pricing likely based on a real group buy quantity this time.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
This bumper replaces the lower valence, rather than going behind it; is that right? Will the lower grill area be the same size as stock (to fit a grillcraft insert)?

To help you gauge interest: I'm in the market for something like this, but purchase decision will of course depend on final product and price.
